Dental Fillings

Dental fillings are single or combinations of metals, plastics, glass or other materials used to repair or restore teeth. One of the most popular uses of fillings is to “fill” an area of tooth that your dentist has removed due to decay – “a cavity.” Fillings are also used to repair cracked or broken teeth and teeth that have been worn down from misuse (such as from nail-biting or tooth grinding).

Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure in which a tooth-colored resin material (a durable plastic material) is applied and hardened with a special light, which ultimately "bonds" the material to the tooth to restore or improve a person's smile.

Dental Crowns

Dental crowns are caps placed on top of damaged teeth. Crowns are used to protect, cover and restore the shape of your teeth when fillings don’t solve the problem. Dental crowns can be made out of metals, porcelain, resin and ceramics. They typically don’t require special care over time other than regular good oral hygiene.

Dental Bridges

If you have missing teeth, including front teeth, a dental bridge can help restore the look and function of your teeth. It bridges the gap where the missing tooth is. Our dentists can determine if a dental bridge is right for you.

Root Canal

Root canal treatment is a dental procedure that relieves pain caused by an infected or abscessed tooth. During the root canal process, the inflamed pulp is removed. The surfaces inside the tooth are then cleaned and disinfected, and a filling is placed to seal the space.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

Full mouth reconstruction, rehabilitation and restoration are terms often used interchangeably to describe the process of rebuilding or simultaneously restoring all of the teeth in both the upper and lower jaws.

Dental Veneers

A dental veneer is an ultra-thin shell of tooth-colored porcelain or composite that is cemented over the facial surfaces of your teeth to correct dental issues including worn tooth enamel, uneven tooth alignment or spacing, tooth discoloration, and chips or cracks.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are used to replace missing teeth. An implant is a titanium metal screw that replaces a tooth root. The implant acts as an anchor for artificial teeth such as dental bridges, dental crowns and dentures.

Partial Crowns: Inlays/Onlays

Onlays fit over your tooth’s biting surface and are made of a solid piece of porcelain, composite, resin, or gold. This type of restoration is used to fix a tooth that has been damaged by decay or injury. Onlays are similar to inlays but differ in the amount of your tooth they cover. Onlays go over the cusp (or cusps) of your tooth, whereas inlays fill the space between your cusps.

Dentures

A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. Two types of dentures are available – complete and partial. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing. Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain.

Tooth Extraction

Tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth from its socket in the bone. In many cases, you can repair teeth that are broken or damaged by decay with a filling, crown, or other dental treatment. Sometimes, though, the damage is too severe to repair, so your dentist will recommend extraction.
